Privacy policy
Effective October 17, 2026. This policy describes how Banana Studio handles information on bananastudioapp.com.
Information we use
When you create a web account, we store your name, email address, securely hashed password and session information. If you create content, we process your prompts, uploaded files, generation settings, job status and generated outputs. We keep credit balances and billing records needed to operate your account, prevent duplicate charges or grants, and resolve support requests.
Payments
Stripe processes web payments. We receive subscription status, product identifiers, transaction references and relevant billing details; we do not store full payment-card numbers. Checkout is currently paused. No purchase is made by browsing plans or creating an account.
How information is used
We use this information to authenticate you, perform requested creations, display your history, administer credits and subscriptions, respond to support, protect the service and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
Our service uses hosting, database, content-delivery and payment providers, including Vercel, MongoDB, Cloudflare and Stripe. When generation is enabled, prompts and relevant uploads are sent to AI providers such as fal.ai and its underlying model providers to process your request. Do not upload information you are not authorized to share. Processing may take place outside your country.
Cookies and local storage
Essential cookies maintain secure sign-in sessions. Browser storage can remember drafts, preferences and onboarding progress. This website does not require advertising tracking to use the studio. Clearing browser storage can remove unsaved drafts.
Retention and deletion
Account and generation information is retained while needed to provide the service and resolve support or billing issues. Some transaction records may need to be retained for legal or accounting obligations. You can remove items from History where available and request account or personal-data deletion by email. Download important creations before deleting them.
Your choices
You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your information, and raise privacy concerns by contacting us. We may need to verify that you control the account before responding. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent where applicable, and contact your data-protection authority.
Separate accounts
The web service does not automatically link your identity, balance, purchases or creations to the Banana Studio iOS app or Spicy Mayo.
