  • From 50 credits
  • 7 aspect ratios
  • Up to 4K
  • Edit with up to 4 photos

What Nano Banana Pro is good at

  • Edits that keep the person

Change the outfit, the background, the glasses or the expression and the face stays the same. In our tests in September 2026, identity held across more than five edits in a row.

  • Several photos in one image

Add up to four photos and describe how they fit together, such as a person and a jacket, or a product and a new setting. Banana Studio sends its own two-photo jobs to this model.

  • Short text inside the picture

Posters, labels and greeting cards with a few words are a good fit. When a request asks for text in the image, Banana Studio hands it to Nano Banana Pro for that reason.

  • 2K for screens, 4K for print

Pick 2K for phones and social posts, and 4K when you plan to print the image, show it on a large screen or crop into it later.

Good to know

  • In the Create model menu it is listed as Nano B 2 Pro.
  • For a candid, phone-camera look in portraits made from scratch, Seedream 4.5 did better in our tests.
  • Describe the camera position rather than writing the word selfie. In one of our tests that word made the model draw a phone screen into the picture.
  • Check the spelling of any words in the image before you share it.

Questions about Nano Banana Pro

Is Nano Banana Pro made by Banana Studio?

No. Nano Banana Pro is an image model from Google. Banana Studio is an independent app that offers it next to models from OpenAI, ByteDance and Black Forest Labs, all paid from one credit balance.

How many credits does Nano Banana Pro use?

Nano Banana Pro costs 50 credits at 2K and 100 at 4K per image. The 7-day introduction ($1.99, 240 credits) covers 4 images at the lowest setting, and the Pro plan's 2,200 monthly credits cover about 44 images. The exact price for your settings is shown on the Create button before you start.

Can I edit my own photo with Nano Banana Pro?

Yes. In Create, choose Image, then Change a photo, add one to four pictures and describe the change, such as a new background or a different outfit. JPG, PNG and WebP files up to 4 MB each are accepted.

Should I choose 2K or 4K?

2K is plenty for phones and social media. Choose 4K for prints, large displays or when you expect to crop. The 4K setting costs more; both prices are in the table on this page.

Why does my edit change more than I asked for?

Say what must stay the same as well as what should change, for example: keep the face, pose and lighting, change only the shirt to navy. A few short edits in a row usually beat one long request.

Can Nano Banana Pro put text on an image?

Yes. It is the model Banana Studio relies on for words inside pictures. Put the exact words in quotes, keep them short, and read the result carefully before you use it.
