What Kling 3.0 is good at

  • Photos of people

It is our first choice for bringing a portrait to life. In our tests with photorealistic portraits, Kling animated them where Seedance 2.0 refused.

  • Control the ending

Add a last frame as well as a first one and the clip settles on that exact pose or shot, which helps with loops and clean transitions.

  • Sound when you want it

Switch sound on for audio generated with the clip, or leave it off for a silent clip to cut with your own music. Its model page lists speech in English and Chinese.

  • A shape for every feed

Text-to-video clips can be wide 16:9, tall 9:16 or square. Photo-to-video clips follow the shape of your photo.

Questions about Kling 3.0

Can Kling 3.0 animate a photo of a person?

Yes. Choose Bring a photo to life, upload the photo and describe the movement. Banana Studio's Terms ask that you only upload photos you own or have permission to use.

How many credits does Kling 3.0 use?

Kling 3.0 costs 112 credits without sound or 160 with sound per 5-second clip. The 7-day introduction ($1.99, 240 credits) covers 2 clips at the lowest setting, and the Pro plan's 2,200 monthly credits cover about 19 clips. The exact price for your settings is shown on the Create button before you start.

What does sound add to a Kling 3.0 clip?

With sound on, the model generates audio together with the video. Leave it off if you plan to add your own music; the silent version costs less, as the price table shows.

How do I make a Kling 3.0 video loop?

Use Two photos, one video and give the same image as both the first and the last frame. The clip starts and ends on the same shot, so it can repeat with little or no jump.

Is there a prompt length limit for Kling 3.0?

Yes, 2,500 characters. Shorter prompts that name one main action tend to work better than long lists of events.

Should I use Kling 3.0 or Kling 2.5 Turbo?

Choose Kling 3.0 when you want sound generated with the clip. Kling 2.5 Turbo costs less and only makes silent clips, which suits footage you will score yourself.
