What Seedance 2.0 is good at
Realistic footage from text
In our September 2026 tests it produced convincing handheld, news-style street footage from a written prompt alone.
Shapes in every mode
Wide, tall, square, 4:3 and 3:4 are available in every mode, including photo-to-video, where most other models follow the photo.
Reference photos
Use up to three reference photos to keep a product, a pet or an illustrated character consistent through the clip.
Two speeds
Use Fast for drafts and quick social clips, then switch to Seedance 2.0 when you need 1080p or 4K for the final.

Choose Put your people in a video and add up to three photos of a product, a pet or a character. The model uses them to keep that subject looking the same throughout the clip.
Which shape should I choose for social media?
Pick 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 16:9 for YouTube and websites, and 1:1 or 3:4 for feeds. Seedance 2.0 also accepts 4:3.
